Physical Therapy Murray
Janessa Snelders is a physical therapist at Intermountain Health's Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation - West Valley Clinic in West Valley City, Utah. She supports patients in West Valley, Magna, South Salt Lake, and surrounding communities specializing in orthopedics, with a focus on spine care, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and running evaluation. Committed to continual learning and growth, Janessa is always seeking new opportunities to provide the highest quality care for her patients. She is state-certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling, which has expanded her treatment capabilities. An avid runner herself, she applies her knowledge and skills to manage her own stubborn knee pain and to better understand the needs of the patients she treats. Janessa received her clinical training in Sports Medicine at the Mayo Clinic and in balance training at the University of Utah, experiences that ignited her passion for treating these patient populations. She is also a proud member of Utah's lacrosse community, having played in high school and college, and she has officiated girls' lacrosse for 10 years. She loves giving back as a physical therapist, referee, and occasional fitness instructor. A lover of the outdoors and the beautiful Utah mountains, Janessa also speaks Spanish and welcomes every opportunity to connect with her Spanish-speaking patients and community members.
