Alyssa Scordo is a Registered Dietitian (RD) at Intermountain Health's employee clinic in Murray, Utah. She is dedicated to helping patients build a healthier relationship with food and develop sustainable habits that fit their lifestyle. She is passionate about moving beyond diet culture and providing personalized nutrition guidance that supports long-term health and well-being. Alyssa specializes in weight management, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and cardiovascular health, using an evidence-based approach to help patients achieve meaningful and lasting results. Alyssa moved to Utah from upstate New York. She earned her Bachelor's in Health Science and Biology at SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY where she was also a member of the women's lacrosse program. She then went on to pursue a Bachelor's/Master's combined program in Dietetics from D'Youville College in Buffalo, NY. Alyssa has been working as a Registered Dietitian for several years now. Alyssa has nutrition experience working in private practice, clinical, long-term care, and outpatient settings. Outside of work, Alyssa loves spending time with family and friends. She loves to ski, mountain bike, golf, and travel. Alyssa provides nutrition counseling to Intermountain Employee's and dependents at NO costs available at Cottonwood Medical Center - Employee Clinic and also sees patients through Intermountain Medical Center.
