Sandra Guillen, NP

Sandra “Sandi” Guillen is a nurse practitioner (NP) specializing in neonatology at Intermountain Health’s Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She supports patients and their families who come into the NICU, helping treat prematurity, respiratory distress/failure, neonatal infection/sepsis, metabolic/feeding problems, and more. Sandi’s approach to care is inspired by Dr. Seuss’s Horton Hears a Who and its message that “a person’s a person, no matter how small.” Sandi is passionate about bridging the gap between research and clinical care by implementing evidence-based practices in her daily work. Outside the clinic, Gigi serves Utah’s community as a current member of the Utah Air National Guard.
